Paul took a day off from work and we headed out the door early for our adventure!
We had decided to wanted to explore Yosemite after the massive crowds and before the crummy weather so our timing seemed ideal.
There was a line to get in, but it wasn’t too long.
After we paid our fee, they gave us some handy info to help us navigate and get to where we wanted to go. . . .
We got stuck behind a slow vehicle, but it gave us time to decide our priorities.
We stopped at a lookout point. . .
We headed for the valley floor (and a parking spot!) So many cool views along the way . . .
We parked and headed for Yosemite Falls . . .
I didn't take any pictures at the base of the falls because a gal decided to go in a splash around. I didn't really want a photo of her to commemorate our hike!
(It's hard to see, but he really is catching the waterfall in this photo!)
We found a pick up spot for a shuttle bus and hitched a ride . . .
to our overpriced lunch we had here …..
While we ate, we made some decisions about what things we could go see in the allotted time.
