First we met up at an aquarium. Leah seemed to enjoy her time there though I doubt it left a lasting impression.
We regrouped and headed out to the Old Ball Game! Leah was obviously thrilled to find out it was Bobblehead Night (or was that Samuel?)
We surveyed our seating choices and decided that the stadium seating wasn’t all that compatible with a stroller user. . .
We had a nice view of the stadium but there wasn’t much shade (and we weren’t prepared for the heat.)
Leah found and enjoyed the bit of shade we could find.
Since we had time before the game started, I did what any self-respecting grandma would do . . .
I taught Leah to smile whenever I pointed my camera at her!
Once I conquered that, I had to have a three generation picture, except I had to take it myself. . .
Samuel felt a little excluded, so we had an intruder in this pic. .
Finally, one I could live with. . .
If nothing else, I have mastered the chopping-off-part-of-the-head technique, obviously
I have no clue who won the game, but did it really matter? I got to spend some quality time with loved ones so I think I was the real winner.
