The Case of the Darkened Christmas Lights

Last night, Paul went to turn off the Christmas lights but they were already off. He thought perhaps I had turned them off before he could, but I hadn't. We guessed that perhaps the wind has something to do with it since it was a blustery night. So Paul unplugged them all so we wouldn't worry.



This morning, this is what we noticed. . .

The sockets were empty!

And what was on the lawn (along with a dusting of snow)??? We have been pranked. Wonder if they like us or not!

Allie has volunteered to climb up on the rooftop (click, click, click) to replace them all. (Correction. . . Allie just clarified that she is willing PICK them up. Paul gets to climb up and replace them all. ) We just don't know how the perpetrators were able to do it without the puppy alarm going off.

note: not such a happy prank . . . we are missing bulbs, some blown fuses and broken sockets.
