Father Daughter Outing

Paul loves to ice skate, but I don’t.  He was excited to have the girls home and invited them to go skating with him.  Allie turned him down, but Jennifer was ready for some fun.  I tagged along.

I had not been to the lake before when there was snow on the ground (other than when we were just passing through.) I had never seen the infamous hill populated with sledding enthusiasts where Paul had taken the kids to sled when they were younger.

It is nice to have an ice rink not too far away.

They graciously posed for me before lacing up their skates and hitting the ice.

I figure if they ever want to get me out on the ice, I would need to swallow my pride and use one of these. . .

I think they had fun!
